Plumb Lake County Park spans over 120 acres and offers incredible hiking, fishing, and kayaking for the whole family. The park is home to a beautiful observation pier known as Kayak Launch, and there’s even a nature-inspired playground for the little ones. Got an itch for off-roading? Rouch Off-Road World is a family-owned and operated off-road vehicle park featuring approximately 100 acres of rugged trails and hill climbs devoted to off-roading at its finest. First launched in 2016, Rouch Off-World World is located just 5 miles north of Sturgis and has become one of the most popular places for tourists and locals who love off-roading. Rouch Off-Road World hosts events and even offers camping trips.
Green Valley Golf Course
The 18-hole course at the Green Valley Golf Course features 4,642 yards of golf and dates back to the 1970s. Featuring apple trees, oak wood lots, flower beds, hills, and ponds, Green Valley is sprawling with beautiful scenery and features three sets of tees for different skill levels. Shipshewana is a small town in Indiana, located less than 20 miles from Sturgis. Home to the Shipshewana Flea Market, locals and tourists enjoy Shipshewana for its small-town charm and unique shopping opportunities. In addition to the flea market, Shipshewana is home to Blue Gate Restaurant & Theater, as well as various Amish Markets, giving you plenty to do for the entire day.

There are many fun events to explore in Sturgis before or after heading to Iconic Wellness. Check out the Sturgis Young Center for Arts for a variety of shows and events, including BBQ festivals and holiday concerts, or visit one of the following annual events held annually in town:
- Sturgis Fest / Family Day: Previously known as Sturgis Dam Days, Sturgis Fest is a community festival organized by the Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce. Initially created to honor the hydroelectric dam that brought power to the city, Sturgis Fest now offers a perfect family outing sponsored by many local businesses and individuals. This year’s Sturgis Fest consisted of four days of activities featuring everything from bike night to biscuit Sunday.
- Sturgis Toy Run: Held annually in Sturgis, the Sturgis Toy Run is an event and rally held to benefit the Children of The Palmer Home in Columbus, Mississippi. Typically held every September, the Sturgis Toy Run aims to gather toys for the less fortunate and offers community members an excellent way to give back.
